Opened to traffic in 2012, this cast-in-place reinforced concrete deck of the cable-stayed bridge structure features a 100-year service life design. Rapid construction time, ease of placement and wider installation temperature range of Polyester Polymer Concrete (PPC) led to PPC being selected by the Design-Build team in place of the LMC overlay originally specified. After 10 years of service both the deck and wearing surface elements are rated >97% Condition State #1.
